> W950i New Firmware - Horrible Email Bug?

After going to the SEUS site and reflashing my phone to the new Firmware R9EA001 all went well. New version of Opera, faster operation generally and new option with Speakerphone then..... I discovered what I believe may be a serious bug. When I receive email with HTML text through my POP3 accounts it will not open after downloading. The email client shuts down, back to home screen and a Kernel Error Reason 3 (which I believe is lack of memory). So thinking it was dreaded memory leakage I switched off the phone removed battery and rebooted to get 21MB free. Then opened email application and attempted to open downloaded email and again a crash and Kernel Error reason 3.
I would be extremely grateful if some of you guys could let me know if you have the same bug as I am close to the edge of reason trying to fix this and I need access to email.

That sounds like a thing that could be caused by a restored backup. Some phones don't like getting their data restored with the backup manager after a flash. Try a master reset and enter everything manually.

Thanks for this Firetech. I didn't use a backup manager when I put the new firmware on - everything done manually.
However I will try a master reset again. This only seems to happen for emails which are over a certain size say 60k or above and which require the browser to open.
Does anyone else have this problem help....

i got the same problem with my p990! just keeps crashing! i know it has something to do with the "display MHTML."
when you uncheck it on the settings option you can load up the page but doesn't come out right.
but let me know if it comes out alright when you do a master reset.
