> Locking the phone while typing a message

I don't know if this happens to anyone else but when i type a message on my p990 and then lock my phone while the message is still being written, it will put the alt key on for some reason so when you unlock your phone and start typing you start typing numbers. Why is this?

Just checked. Happens with my keyboard too. Not too bothered though as I use the stylus for messages.

I had a feeling it might of been something that happens to everyone. I never use the stylus for txting, my handwriting is scruffy enough, thr phone never recognises what i write.

I noted this "feature/bug" a while back in the m600 wishlist.
It happenes beause you should be able to type 911/999/112 from the standbyscreen in an acute emergency. The problem is that it doesn't "remember" what setting you were at before the standby activated.

You got a good point there. Hopefully SE will sort it in the next firmware.
