Recently, one of my laptops was damaged beyond repair. My problem is, that my entire iTunes library was on the ruined laptop. I have all my songs on my iPod, but obviously my iTunes library has been destroyed. I want to transfer the songs from my iPod to my new laptop (iTunes). I had left my iPod to sync automatically with iTunes, which would mean that my entire library would be wiped if I connected it to my new laptop.

I have read about third-party apps which (supposedly) copy music from an iPod and then transfer it to iTunes.

I would really apreciate it if anyone could give me some advice, as to how I can resolve my situation.

Best Regards
P.

When i had my last ipod in December you could open it up in my computer as a removable hard drive and using the "show hidden files and folders" option i could access the songs, not sure if apple have changed this.
