I need to reset the phone lock code for my W810i. How can i do this. Also i need to know if there is a document reader i can intall on my phone to read for example word documents, .txts or pdfs. Thanks in advance.

The fone lock code can be reset at the general menu, locks. The default is 0000

i think there are java apps that can read pdf, doc or xls files. you can see txt files with the phone's wap browser

thanks for the reply but that still doesnt solve my problem. the thing is someone gave me the phone and they changed the phone lock code so its no longer 0000. I dont no the new code and i cant contact the person to find wat the new code is . so i need to find a way to reset it to the default codeor to find out wat the current code is. In regards to my other question does anybody no any specific java app that i can to read files like pdf n doc files.

Well if someone changed it you are screwed. Check the locks in the service menu. Then there is always the 0000, 0001, 0002, etc. trial and error. Or you can bring it to a service center to have it fixed.

Thanks for the help. I guess i gotta use the trial and error method. its gonna cost me too much if i take it in to a service center.

you can find programs to read the phone lock code, flashing via woton reset the phone lock code to 0000 well it did on my k800
