> Can't access my files SE K800i
Bookmark topic
Dear Everyone,
I have got a SE K800i and i am having a hard time connecting my mobile to my PC. I never succeeded so far.
I have installed all drivers and necessary software on my pc, however i stil can not access the phone.
Everytime i check the computer management->disk management i can see the sony ericsson drive without a letter being assigned. Once i try to assign a letter to it I get an error message.
Can anyone please try to help me because i have had this problem for ages now and i am desparate to resolve it.
I will be very grateful

make yourself clear. you wanna access to the files located in the phone's mem or the M2?
if im not mistaken, once you connect your phone to the computer you gain to new drives. one is the M2 and the other is the phone's memory. so, browse those 2 drives and look for your files

I remember this happening to me too. If i recall well, it was after my pc fail to install the USB drivers. I had to uninstall the drivers and install again. This could not be your case, though.

I cannot browse to the phone's mem. I dont have an M2.
The drive does not appear on the desktop. Once i go to disk management i can see that there the mobile is connected and i can see space allocated for it but i cant assign a drive letter to it.

AFAIK you cannot access your phone memory from the computer you can only access your MSPD or your M2..coz evrytime i connect my k800 and my k750 i never saw my phone memory..if you wan to transfer pix and mp3 i think you can use the management software that comes with the package but i never tried it ..
