Anyone know the best place online to get an original oem replacement housing for the p990i? I checked eBay and they have some ranging from about 80-90 dollars. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I really don't know if this will do the trick. It's a dummy/demo P990i. Surely the housing will be trasnferable? Plus at under £5 inc P&P it's probably worth a try!

normally dummy phone cases don't fit the actual phone.

No no to dummies... They are usually made from different materials and also usually have a different construction inside... they are not designed to hold the original components...
