Is it possible to use the p990i as a modem via WIFI?
I want the phone connected to laptop (no wifi) and to connect to WIFI hotspots.
I cannot find any help on this.... Is it poss? if so how?

I don't think so, it would need the P990 to act as a router, which it doesn't support AFAIK. Maybe with third party apps, but I haven't seen any. Most modern laptops have WIFI, so it's not a commonly requested feature... The other way round (I.E. WIFI to computer, 3G/GPRS to Internet) might be interesting though.
