When entering your pin on switching on the phone, a '*' immediately appears so hiding the pin in firmware R3A01 on the P990i. With the later R4A09 firmware, the pin number keyed momentarily appears before the '*' is displayed. Has anyone else with the lastest R4A09 firmware noticed this?
I presume it is not my phone and a 'new', albeit deliberate feature.
Personally I prefer the pin digits not to momentarily display, in case anyone is 'shoulder surfing'.
