I bought an M600i from a shop on Edgware road today, but I got it home to discover it has a QWERTZ keyboard... Am I going to have much trouble returning it? I just assumed when I bought it that it'd be the UK model

It's pretty annoying, because it seems to be the last black M600i available in London.

Qwertz is a german keyboard. A lot of places on tottenem court and edgware road source things outside of the uk so i am not surprised. It is upto you if you want to return it.
btw. you dont need to post twice

Oops, sorry for the double post, not sure that happened... On further inspection, the box has "CH" on it, so I guess it's Swiss.

German is one of the official languages in Switzerland. Seems about right.

@ osamede: I've been all round london trying to find a black SIM free m600i, tried dozens of shops, including all those on Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street and Edgware road.. Only found one shop that had one, and it had the wrong keyboard!

The Sony Ericsson store on High Stree Kensington is now going to call me when they get more in
