hello, turn your light on in camera mode, push the camera button half way down and then scroll down with jog wheel, this will turn your light on and it will stay on! its good for recording videos with and if you need a bright light!

if you mean external flash, not that I am aware of. I personally tried the MXE-60, but it's not compatible.

yes its the same effect, but after a while the light in camera turns off.
Thats because it shouldn't drain the battery.
It was very handy in the W800i, even with a SOS-mode.
