hi all
how can I set up a simple alarm? Do I really need to go in the TASK menu and thus set date and stuff? I just a plain simple alarm clock just like I had on my T68i
and how do I clear my call list the easiest?

The easiest way to set an alarm that I have found is to tap the triangle in the bottom left of the screen, then select time, and the alarm feature is there. As for your call list select which one you want out of, all, incoming, outgoing or missed calls then head to the drop down menu at the top select edit and then delete

u can set 3 different alarms ... an improvement compared to t68i
the clear call list takes about the same amount of time
