Hey guys, i spent the last 3 days trying to find a solution to this problem, and finally decided to post it here.
When i try to send a picture larger than 640x480 to my T610 over bluetooth, it resizes it to 640x480 during the transfer. When i try the same over IR it works fine, sending the pics as they are. Same with my usb data cable from my PC. Is there any way to fix the bluetooth resizing problem ?
The reason i need this is coz my mates sometime send me pics from their larger resolution phones and i need to upload them to the net. most of their phones don't have ir (yay t610!).
cheers

T610 resizes ? I didn't know that. When I had a T630, and it recieved pictures larger than VGA size, it didn't resize, but instead the pic could not be viewed in the phone...

the t630 could recieve pics larger than 640x480 via bluetooth ??
well, any size pics can be loaded onto my t610 via ir or usb, these pics, if larger than 640x480, will not be shown. only an 'x' indicates a pic.

Whoever said that if you stick at a problem long enough, you will find a solution, was right !!
the image resize problem happens if you transfer a single image to the t610. if you mark multiple images and send them via bluetooth, they will be sent as they are, actual size. you still cant see them on your t610 though.
hope this helps someone out there, still love my t610 !

I know that t630 ALWAYS stores pictures with larger size (in kb, but with same resolution) than it was in PC, but I haven't ever noticed, that it could resize any pic. It just stored large images, without being able to view.

@Kikos
yes, the storage size increase is probably due to file system overhead.
what i was talking about was that sending ONE picture of size larger than 640x480 via bluetooth would resize the pic to 640x480 on the t610.
pics are transmitted in full resolution via IR and cable from PC. also sending multiple pictures in a batch via BT also send it in full size.
this whole thing kinda makes sense, when someone sends a t610 a pic, it would resize it to vga which is the maximum that can be displayed. no point looking at red Xs !
