> How long to repair a Phone
Bookmark topic
I took my K800i to CPW three weeks ago as it did the usual wont turn on thing. I was told that it could take 2 weeks to repair and that they would call me when it was ready. I called them 2 weeks later to be told it had been sent to SE for repair and that it will definately be back within a week. I have just called them again and been told that it is not back yet and they dont know how long it will be.
Anyone got any idea how long it takes to reflash the phone with a new EROM. I want my phone back.

I sent mine direct to Sony Ericsson's repair place, after phoning them direct. The phone was returned to me within 4 days fully fixed and firmware upgraded.

I thought that as I got it from them and it was an easy fix that they could do it in store in one day.

Got it back today. It went from the instore repair guy to the CPW headoffice repair guys and finally onto
After

having it for 3 weeks they decided they couldnt fix it and gave me a refurbished phone. The refurb is in perfect condition and has made 1.5 minutes of calls. The best thing is that they sent an unbranded phone where as my one I sent for repair was O2 branded.

It wasnt so bad as I had my TYTN to play with. The only thing with the TYTN is it is easy to use a lot of data.
