hi

i bought a new SE M600i and i am trying to connect it to internet through my Handset, I would like to inform you that, i am able to connect it to my PC. But the main issues is "I am unable to connect Internet from my handset, i am unable to set homepage for my mobile and find Advaced Settings" I would be appreciate, if i resolve this issue. Again i would like to remind is that, i am unable to browse internet pages from my handset and no issues in browsing from PC.

I am unbale to find and perform steps on my hanset :
1. I am unable to find Setting default Access Point.
2. I am unable to find Setting "Home Page" on my handset.
3. I am unable to browse still on my handset.

the only issue is that i am unable o browse on my Sony Ericsson M600i Handset !! Please help !!

Just to try and understand what you are asking...

1. Do you want to conenct to the Internet using the Phone and GPRS ? E.g. The 'handset has no conenction at all with the PC' etc.
If this is the case then download las sugegsted in previous post .

2. If you want to 'connect your phone to your PC' and then use the handset to conenct to internet 'through the conenction and the PC' internet conenction, then you need to to do something else.

1. try going to control panel, connections, Internet Wizard and click continue. That should download your settings for you. my m600 and w950 both have this function
2. unfortunately there seems to be no way on the latest UIQ3 phones to set home page
3. do (1) above and that should fix your problem

I have resolved my issue and found its working coool !!

What i did was removed all the settings i had on my Handset and asked the Service Provider people to send one last Settings and configured it it from the beginning and Switched Off the mobile for 2 minutes and restarted to function it. And now i am really happy !! i would like to thank who had assisted me in this regard !! thanks again !!

And now i am able to browse and able to view my mails (configured e-mail account like Gmail) with my M600i.
