> problem with backup restore on m600

strange problem with the backup program - even tho i'm selecting the most recent backup file - the phone keeps getting backed up with the wrong old file?
any ideas?

ok so i did something stupid - i deleted all the other files except the one i wanted to make sure i was selecting the right one.
turns out the backup program must mixed up the lable or something because the one i'm left with is from november even tho its named 09/02/2007

I stopped using the backup/restore in the days of the P900/P910 as I always had problems
and anyway, all my PIM stuff is in outlook so a simple sync brings that in, and all the stuff I have installed is on memory stick so I just click my way through them
that just leaves email settings which take 5 minutes
better than all these problems!

yeah its just the email and wap settings i want - i had the autosettup sms's saved in my inbox so i'm just going to select to restore my messages then all will be well

First you copy your back-ups on a cd, THEN delete it and leave only one on the pc. I have all the stuff back-up on Outlook anyway and all the multimedia on pc too so it's not a problem if something happens. Backingp thru SE pc suite it's just easier....
