Hi

I'm about to buy myself a new cell phone since my old K700 is broken. I read somewhere that the W810i supports a cool feature called flash lite, which enables really cool looking flashy menues.

Does all W810i support this, or is it just random if I get one that does it or not? Cuz I read someplace that some W810i have this feature disabled and I'd really like to have it enabled

Does the K750i support this feature aswell? It's alot cheaper for me to buy a K750i so that's one reason to not buy the W810i.

What do you ppl believe to be the main reason to buy a W810i instead of the K750i? Apart from EDGE that is? Flash lite menus is one of my reasons ^^ that's why I'm so keen on getting a W810i with this feature.

Ok, I've read about the procedures now and although it seem abit complicated it's doable

So, another question. Will those flashy themes affect the battery life much?

It's true, not all W810i's have Flash, when you get a branded W810i, it will probably be disabled.
You'll have to decide for yourself, whether EDGE is worth the extra money.

When you don't use EDGE very much and the price difference is large, as you say, I would go for the K750i, it's basically the same phone and, at the price it's sold for now-a-days, it gives great value for your money.

How is the joystick on the K750i compared to the one on the W810i. I've read about complaints that it breaks kinda quick, just a month of use, but is it really that bad? The one on my K700 was kinda ok, didnt break, and if it's the same they use on the K750i then I think I'd choose the K750i it seems to be a solid phone.

Yes I know that, what I wonder is.. if anyone think I should avoid the K750i because of a bad joystick or if it's just the same as the K700, that I'm pretty fine with.

i would get the w810i as i love flash menus that my bro's has, well i know loads of ppl that have generic firmware from CPW that dont work with flash, yet my bros does which came from an insurance replacement.

if yours doesnt have it all you have to do is debrand it then use Phonexs++ to put the .swf files for the themes on the phone, not sure exaclty how but there are a lot of guides about

do you see they dont come without flash menu support, they come with it disabled or with the .swf files missing so the flash dont appear and u get operators icons, and with my procedure u can fix this
