Hi!
I'm experiencing some problems with my screen.
In the grey'd(or in shadowed) zones of the screen (the bar at the bottom, the selection bar when browsing main menu and so on) are all flickering on my screen.
The effect sort of looks like when you film a TV and you get horizontal lines moving downwards, this is what it all of a sudden look like on my p990, not as much as on a TV, but still enough for it to be quite annoying.
Anyone had this problem, and know of any solution other than returning the phone?
Oh, and i updated the phone to newest f/w, don't know if that has anything to do with it? Can't recall if i saw it before or after i updated...
It gets worse the higher lightness i set the screen to, currently running at 45%lightness the flickering is still noticeable

yes, i have the same problem. get used to it or return it if possible. some of p990 dont have this problem, i checked myself in a shop.

I too hav the same problem. even got the phone replaced n twice or thrice got the display changed. but no use. The guy at the service center has seen saveral such p990's and said its there as well. Its a manufacturing problem I think.

The funny thing is that I really don't think the phone was like this before, i think I would've noticed that since I've had the phone since august/sept.
Well well, i'm gonna give sonyericsson a call on monday to hear what they have to say..
