...hi guys, hope all is well...i heard from some members here that the best way to upgrade to a new firmware is doing a "hard disk format" with "master reset" prior to updating to a new firmware to avoid problems..
How do u do the "hard disk format"?

You need to access the service menu, with the following key combination:
jog dial UP
*
jog dial DOWN
jod dial DOWN
*
jog dial DOWN
*
You'll see 'Format internal disk' as an option.
