HI

Ive just got a phone which is the w800i. When i tried to turn it on the battery was defunct. I replaced the battery and the phone booted up. Everything was good until i inserted the 512mb supplied memory card the phone goes into STUPID MODE. flashing a white screen at me over and over again. I take the card out it works fine!!

The camera doesnt work with the card out?

Ive tried different cards all the same.

Any advice would be much appreciated. I have the supplied usb cable but cant find either an update or downgrade if the problem is software related.

hi mate!

is your phone new? what is your firmware?

the camera gives a message saying that memory is not available? if so press settings, save to and then choose phone memory.

Hi

Firmware is R1AA008

The phone is second hand, but newish.

I cant access the camera from the phones menu, however when i flick the switch on the fascia it will try to enter camera mode but returns back to the main screen.

you have an older firmware version. try to update it with SEUS. this might solve you problem.

i think it will solve you problem if you reformat he duo card in fat 16/32 not NTFS system or something like that, i have had same problem so i formated to fat15 and it work fine
