Hey guys

after a week of having issues connecting to the wotan server, finally i manage to connect but alas more issues. I dont know what this means so here's the message. I'd appreciate any help at this point. Thanks.

Are you from Asia? I also have problem connecting to their ftp server. It seems that the file that the client download has corrupt.
You can try to download firmware file first before running the client.

Go to www.wotanserver.com and you can go to the member area where you put your login name and password (provided to you after you buy the credit). You can try to download the firmware file there and see whether you can download it without any corruption. Then after you confirm you got good firmware file, you can flash it again using the client with finalization (to make your phone work). Finalization took 1 credit unless you come from CID49 and want to flash CID51 firmware (took 2 credit).
Finalization only download small file (less than 100k) so it is almost free form corruption while the firmware itself is about 20+MB (more chance to corruption).

ok i downloaded the file that i need. Now what do i do next i.e how do i get the file to work with the client, because when i open the client, it just starts to download the file itself. Should i save it in a special folder, and then how do i get the client to read the file. i'd appreciate a detailed explanation of the process. sorry i'm not technologically sound, this is all new to me.

Put it inside flash folder (when you run wotan client it should automatically create flash folder), it should work. I am more familiar with kulan myself as I still have problem with wotan ftp connection.

tried that, it still attempts to download the file though like it isn't even recognizing the file that is already there. I have checked and double checked the firmware versions and they match. I left it and it still comes up with the same message.

Getting very frustrated, feeling like i should have gone with another client from another group.

Perhaps your phone is brown? I heard that Wotan is unable to change brown to red if the phone is DB2020. Only Brown CID 36 is working. Not sure, actually..please others correct me. BTW, have you tried updating via SEUS? What did SEUS say? And what's your f/w version now?

Same here...
My problem is having "Operation failed" whenever i try to accessing games and application....
Many recommended wotan to me thats why i used it...
But i am really disapointed.
I downloaded my file for 3 times...
Still the same problem with you...
After i go with wotan......My feeling is i throw my us$9.00 into the sea...
Well...I will go to se service center tomorrow......
I give up with stupid wotan!

i have tried to debrand my k800i RED CID51 on wotan this morning, it apppears that the Wotan client has frozen half way through. should i unplug my phone or just leave it for a few hours and hope for the best??

im hoping i havent killed off my phone. any help will be great.
