During the conference yesterday Miles Flint promised a HSDPA walkman without stating any date. I guess he would not have mentioned that if it would not happen during 2007.

Hi all,
But sorry IMO all top end SE phones should be HSDPA already not coming soon especially their smart phones that are due to be launched, much the same as they should have WiFi g not b. How can you sell top end phones with old tech makes no sense to me these technologies are well established and proven and the cost of implementation is not high either there really is no excuse for delivering old tech IMO.

well said, but we dont have to focus on the hsdpa lack, just look at the many se modesl, which doesnt support edge, as a link between gprs and umts...

Well, SE is even not able to manufacture a phone with both EDGE and UMTS, so I don't suppose there will be a SE phone with HSDPA until 2010.

dont be rude

i can hardly imgagine that se isnt able to pop up with a hsdpa fone, but it would be no excuse for the edge lack.
