Bookmark topic
Hi everyone,
I own a K610i and experience the following problem/bug:
When I charge the phone via USB on my laptop, it never charges completely. It stops at around 89%.
The display looks as if it is still charging but it never goes further than 89%.
SE software and drivers on the laptop are correctly installed, laptop is always connected to ac power (meaning it is not running on its battery) and the phone has the latest firmware.
Anyone else experience the same problem?
Could it be because it's a laptop?

There is a theory that the USB port does not supply enough current to charge the battery

I have a similar problem with my K800i and USB charging, bit more of an issue as due to some corrosion on the Fastport it will only charge via USB.
Asked this question today in the K800i thread, was told it's because it's trickle charging, and I do wonder if it's because of a lack of current as a previous poster has said.
