It just makes me so mad that nokia does not make tri band phones. Thats exactly why i have always ended up buying ERICSSON phones.

8890 was bi-band 900-1900 Phone i.e. world phone
7210, 6610, 3650 and many others released lately are tri-band.
Anyway, I think the market has probably not been quite big for tri-band phones until recently when most people want to buy it -just to have it- although they won't ever need it.
