Is there anyway I can setup my W810s email that is already on the phone, with Gmail?

Why not use Gmails own Java email client? Faster and less data transfer than with the inbuilt email client...

I kind of like the gmail app as it keeps the conversation together like the web version, but I really use it as a novelty and much prefer standard pop/stmp access using the built in clients

also, I can set scheduled downloads and I get notified when new mail is available. fortunately I use a virtually unlimited data account so the extra data is not so much of a concern

I assume because it doesn't have all the overheads of pop3/smtp server access and protocols and has direct access to the data

btw, I have 1gb/month for £7.50 but as much as I do, I doubt I go close to 1gb/month of data (except perhaps when I connect via the phone from my laptop)
