I have just read in O magazine (the quarterly mag from Orange) that Orange Photo Messaging will be free from December 2002 to February 2003. No charge for sending a Photo Message.

Good for you - O2 has also done the same thing right after Vodafone announced free MMS until February 2002 when they launched Vodafone Live!

Everyone (except T-Mobile currently) in the U.K. is offering the same promotion!

20p per MMS is not that bad if you send to lots of people!

There should be a SINGLE standard charge for sending an MMS for up to 10 recipients (once they start billing).

And LONG messages using text-only MMS on Vodafone is charged at 15p (which is useful if you send to multiple recipients as it'll cost you less than sending an SMS to everyone).

Easy now Orangeman, a few quetions if i may. This free mms in dec is that only 4 new subscribers or 4 old customers? Also is it true that orange are doing 10mb for the price of 0.5mb in the same period?

To anyone else, I have the R5D007 sw but when sumone sends me an mms the pic coves the whole screen so if i get a pic + line of txt on the same page i have 2 scrole down loosing the pic to read the txt? Me mates got a t68i on orange + for him the pics are reduced on each page so he can see a pic +
txt in one go. Dose this happen to anyone else +
what can i do? Its annoying

@mattyb - sounds like the MMS you have has had text included on the same page - u can add text onto a new page by itself, then a new page will load rather that u having to scroll down - yes there is a wap only gprs bundle for £4 a month = 10mb & MMS includes all customers new or old - MMS away!
