> Store number from SMS to Phone Book (T-68i)
Bookmark topic
Hello,
I have two issues with my T-68i and would really appreciate if someone could help me with them.
When I receive an SMS from a number that it not stored in my phone book and I choose to save the number from the SMS menu. It displays "Number Saved in the Add Contact Menu". And when I scroll back to the add contact menu, nothing is there.
I also have another problem with the T-68i
i can't seem to store numbers on the SIM card or even edit the ones that I already have there. I only have 9 numbers on the SIM card for speed dial but I’ve stored them there using another mobile phone.
Thanks

After highlighting the number from the SMS you want to add to contacts, press:
Option button>
Save (number)>
Phone book>
Add contact>
Input name of contact>
Choose what sort of number it is>
Push left on joystick>
Unsaved numbers> (select the number you saved from SMS)
You can copy numbers to the SIM by:
Phone book>
Advanced>
Copy all to SIM>
Then you can move their position in the Position list menu.

Thanks
I have more than 300 numbers saved so copying all to SIM won't work. So there is no possible way to just edit one of the contacts that i have on the SIM card? or store one new single contact on the SIM card?

The saving option is not available on most providers. i have 4 differents sim's. with the one from TIM (telecom italia Mobile) I can save any number straight into the SIM and dialing straight from the sim from the Joystick (up or down). with SIM's from t-mobile or voadfone i cannot. this tells me that the firmware has nothing to do with the dialing or saving capabilitiy of the phone...isn't it??
