hi everyone,
i want to know the speed of connection of your pc when you do a FW update.
i know it should be broad band as SE claims.
but for me i have to go to an internet café to do the update and the connection (ADSL)varies between 45-70 kbs taking about 30 minutes to complete the whole process.
in my home i have a connection of speed between 3-4.36 kbs is it good to do the update process?and how long it would take?
regards,

the whole process takes about 20 min for me. 10 min to download the firmware (i am using an adsl 1mbps connection, download speed is 107 kbps ) and another 10 min to upload to the phone but the upload process to the phone depends on your computer hardware too. for instance if you have usb 1.0 or usb 2.0 on your computer ram and so on. my computer's specs are: win xp home sp2 1g ram pentium 4 2.6 ghz hyperthreading and usb 2.0 . so the whole process may vary from one person to another either because of connection speed or hardware.
