Since the last 3 firmware upgrades I have started to experience frequent restarts for performance. The restarts are now happening in the middle of calls. The frequency is 1-2 times daily.

I am running Roadsync/Activesync and using bluetooth is the best I can isolate the issue.

Is anyone else have this frequency of restarts with the last few firmware updates?

These "auto-restarts" usually result from memory-management problems. It's a weakness of the SE M600 / W850 / P990 line. ActiveSync (and Web) are among the usual suspects for heavy RAM-usage. That problem, however, usually improves with firmware upgrades. If your firmware is fully updated and still not improving, maybe an in-warranty swap is the way to go.

A search for m600 memory at http://my-symbian.com/forum/ will give lots of info on the known issues. In the end, if there's no hardware defect, you should get Swiss Manager Pro and learn how to use it. It's available to try free or to buy at the my-symbian software shop. Good luck.

Therefore some data is lost or just poorly installed, and a full reformat usually sorts the issue, usually requiring updating again, but hey it works.
