I cant imagine this thread will fill up with lists of better phones, if it does, i will be interested to see how they are justified.
I noticed u say your P990 WiFi didnt work at all well, but i use WiFi all the time, its one of the main reasons i bought P990, neveer pay a penny in data charges now, it picks up everything that my laptops wifi card will will, couldnt ask for more than that.

I'm not sure if you can refer to me as an ex-P990 user but I have bought an N80 after purchasing the P990. I switch between the phones every a couple days or so and each has its unique feature that I prefer over the other. The use depends on what kind of things I have for the day.
The main thing I like about the N80 is the clarity and the vivid colors of the display screen. You need to view both phones side by side to appreciate this. Another thing I like about it is its small, compact size and at the same time, that is the same reason what I don't like about it. I don't like it for its small size because the screen is so small that you have to always squint when viewing it. Comparing the display screen with the P990 is like comparing a 'regular' sized TV versus a big screen TV, literally. And lastly, the N80 can be turned ON in offline mode without a SIM card and will let you browse the internet through a WLAN connection.
The P990i has so many features that I would never consider getting rid of it despite its instability. I'm hoping time will cure this and SE will come up with the FW that will get rid of all its bugs.
