Want to get my baby brother a Laptop for his birthday, so Looking for the cheapest possible deal with Wifi and Vista...doesn't need to have a fantastic spec.
any suggestions?

personally id highly not recommend dell... but thats a personal choice mainly due to the fact they totally rip off 'Mr Average'.. eg: they chuck warrenty on you dont need and WILL hangle the price - which means anyone whos never hangled have paid over the odds for their product and from what ive seen their product aint to hot anyway.... but like i said - thats a personal choice, im sure theres many a happy dell customer

Im kind of against Dell myself,have had issues with them in the past and almost everyone i know who has ever bought a dell complains about problems,be it with the hardware or customer service.
as im trying to look for the best deal possible let me see what else comes up?

And no... Dells are good.. Yes there has been issues with their support... (but you need not worry on that front) i play daily wid the inspiron 6400 wid vista ultimate preloaded..and so far its been great!

btw, me myself use a compaq/hp...not beacause dells are bad or something...because i wanted to check competition...
