The window from which Lee Harvey Oswalk shot (or didn't shoot) JFK is up for auction on eBay. Current bid is a little over $3 million.
From the
auction listing:
Up for auction for the first time, the actual window and frame from the shooter’s nest on the 6th floor of the Dallas Texas School Book Depository where Lee Harvey Oswald fired off those fatal shots that took the life of our 35th President of the United States - John F. Kennedy. Here is your opportunity to own a piece of history. This window and frame was on display for over ten years at the Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas, Texas. The window and frame has been picked up by it's owner Caruth Byrd and is now in his possession. This valuable historical artifact is now being offered for sale to an avid JFK collector by Caruth Byrd, whose family owned the Texas School Book Depository at the time of the assassination, Nov. 22, 1963. Also included in this auction is a leather booklet with all the official documentation and contracts related to the window and frame's authenticity.

Yeah, but I bet the real hit will be his rifle - THAT could shoot 2 bullets from 2 different angles while not firing them at all from just 1 place!!! I reckon Bill Gates will buy both - he loves windows that hit repeatedly despite misfiring blanks all the time... (what's up with my jokes - better leave the humour where it belongs, the "history" books)

When the B.Rats where first touring the states he was asked on the radio where he'd like to perform in Dallas? "The school book depository", he replied. Bet he knew already then he'd never have 2 hits, either (what's up with my jokes - better leave the humour where it belongs, the "history" books)

I think i might have to look into that one,I would love to write a book, but the only problem is because of my passion over these issues i will end up writeing things people may not like or want to hear.
I doubt my book will ever be allowed to be sold in the U.S market!

Go on Axxxr, Publish your theories.
I could do with a good laugh!
An interesting piece of memorabilia that window. I wonder what it'll fetch?
Probably 00's of thousands.
It is so sad seeing the pictures of JFK jr saluting his dad's coffin as it passes by...
Edit: Oops! Auction closed, final price just over US$3M!
