Can somebody tell me how MeBoy (java gameboy emulator) is behaving in K800 firmware newer than R1CF001?
I have R1CF001 firmware and R3A011 EROM on my K800.
I have tried playing "Pokemon Blue" and "The Legend of Zelda - Link's Awakening".
The game plays fine for less than a minute with good speeds, but after that, things start going crazy...
The game freezes, and the icons on the top (example: java icon, bluetooth icon) disappear. The battery icon looks weird.
If I am lucky, I can press the shortcuts button and end the game from there (the icons on the tabs on the shortcuts menu are also not there sometimes and sometimes they look "corrupted"). However that doesn't always work. I might need to keep the "back" button pressed sometimes. Other times, none of the above work, so I need to keep the turn off button pressed to turn of my phone.
Anyway, if I manage to close the game I can see that the menu icons are also "corrupted". The problem fixes it self after some minutes waiting in the standby screen.
Another weird problem after this happens is that I can't access the camera. It says "Another application is running. Please close it and try again" even though no application was running... :/
Restarting the phone fixed the problem.
So does the above happen in newer firmware versions?
Thanks
Btw, sorry if this is in the wrong forum...

Google is your friend
http://www.arktos.se/meboy/
However, you will have to find the ROMs yourself...
