This morning the alarm woke me up and i shut it down. After about an hour, it started ringing again..i stoped it...after two minutes, again...It did this about 3 times, until i deactivated it. Is this some kind of a bug or i`m not using it correctly?

Maybe you had two consecutive alarm events?

there have been a number of threads about alarms bugs on P990, for example
this one
I'm not sure if the latest firmware has fixed the issue so also read the
latest firmware update thread

The bug must be corrected because i have the wakeup alarm for work days, and it works has supposed...but i never had that bug even with older firmwares

I guess if you never had the bug, and still don't have the bug, then you cannot really state that "this big must be corrected"

at the begining i thought that it`s that setting for the alarm in case you fall asleep for another 5 minute, but now i figured it out that it`s about the alarm setting that i set for yesterday morning...This bug really botheres me.

Fwiw, I did notice this bug after experimenting with a few themes last month. Weekday alarms were going on all week!
I have since resorted to my default theme and re-entered all my alarms. Working fine so far.

I wonder what`s the connection between themes and alarms.. This symbian stuff is really weird sometimes.

UPDATE:
Now I set my alarm to only wake me up on Workdays too.
Today (Saturday) is not my workday, yet it SETS OFF!!!
sometimes alarm also sets off without vibrating the phone (which is very essential for me to wake up!!)
Tell me something guys...do I still have to put the phone on 'Flight' to let the alarm work? Can't it be done when the phone is completely off? if no, then WTF SE??
