Hi, what programme is used to capture mobile phone screens? would this be a pc based programme or some kind of UIQ or java application for the specific handset?

uiq got plenty tools to make a screendump;
like swisstools got one, but there are plenty others.
for you k800i??? i don't know any

I was just wondering if there was any generic screecn capture programmes about, obviously a generic one would be the best so any phone could use it.

How many are there for UIQ and whats the best in your opinion.

Yeah I do have a K800i although when there is a UIQ Sony Ericsson out that I like i'll more than likely go for that. A P990 with a better camera and other advancements minus the silly qwerty keypad that you cant use anyway sounds good and we know something like that is coming.

mind you, having said that, even my Garmin GPS 670 has a screen capture facility built in!
