Hello all
Is there any possible tiny possibility to make the P990i record from radio? Like seen on some Nokia handsets?

It was possible with pre-release firmware. Check out
BengalBoy's P990 review and you'll see audio-recording from radio mentioned. I can't give you an exact link to the review as the site is NSFW and I'm typing this from the office.

Yes, with
pre-release firmware. Now it is not possible anymore, unless you try Softtrends LivePVR method: just hold your P990i close to a radio set and then record through the P990's microphone. Of course this may not be as convenient as recording from the built-in FM radio but it works . . .

this is simply frustrating...
The testing phone has the feature...and our final product lacks it!!
Too funny...yet too frustrating.
Also, is there any hope in making use of the P990's frontal camera for photos?

Planning to shoot lots of self portraits?
The front camera is pretty lo-fi. Why would anyone be interested in using it for photos?
