Hey i am wondering where is the red light that will be on when is low bat. i cannot find it anywhere on my phone.

Secondly, i misplace my charger and i need it to charge my phone quite urgently. is it possible to charge with my usb cable? it did say is charging, but it does not seem to charge at all.

thirdly, i will like to ask that why i have to charge fully before i can update my phone firmware. does it do any different. i am using the program from the SE home. the service updater.

four, do anyone have the game Explode Arena for k800i. is a great game. but is meant for sybiam phone or so.

fifth, sorry to ask so many things at one go.
Thanks.

1. I think it is the infrared led? Not sure as I never allow my phone to be low batt.
2. Go to Service Menu (use >*3. SE say so and why you won't follow it? It might be that if the batt too low then it may run out while the software is being written to the phone and bricking the phone. You don't want to be in this situation, do you? Just follow SE instruction and it is not hard to do, why question it?
4. No but also want to check it out if someone have.
5. No problem!

Update your firmware. R1GB has more efficient use of batt. It significantly improve your batt.

Also if you don't have 3g then use 'GSM only' mode. Using '3g and GSM' will make the phone searching of 3g signal unnecessarily. ALso if you are in area where 3g signal is not stable. Just turn 3g as needed!

Well USB charging only top around 90% for me. Not sure why but some said that USB from computer does not have enough current required by some batt. I think that is enough for flashing firmware but don't quote me on this.

I begin to suspect that newer firmware do check batt level before allowing the phone to be recognized, by pressing the C button that we do to initialize firmware flashing. I tried few times that the phone was not recognized until I fully charged the batt. I might be wrong though, but if I were SE then I will do this step to make sure ppl flash firmware with fully charge batt.

Make sure you got R3A016 EROM as soon as possible. And also you know about R1GB bug with video preview (thumbnail) and video crash when encoded in gigh quality mpeg4? Turn your video to list instead of thumbnail to avoid crashing in case you have high quality video.

Usually no with SEUS, because SEUS is part flashing. That is why sometime you may not fixed your problem by reflashing through SEUS. But flashing to R1GB will force you to reinstall games/apps that is on M2 card. I think that may have something to do with updating EROM CID to 51. Move all games/apps to your phone memory first to avoid this problem. Your contact is safe.

However, if you are using third party like wotan, kulan, DVT then yes it will fully rewrite the firmware and all your data is gone (including setting). SE service centre may also do complete reflash if required.
