Hi, came to this forum to try to solve a problem that's been bugging the hell out of me. I went through every post I could find similar to my problem and tried every solution possible....including the ubiquitous one from BugOne for BT coms. No joy I'm afraid, if you read this and can help, you're my saviour!
I just bought a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer for Bluetooth. It all works out of the box just fine and the transceiver can support up to 5 BT devices simultaneously (allegedly). So I have a gorgeous dark metallic blue bluetooth mouse running across my desk and the cherry on the cake would have been to use the SonyEricsson Image Editor 1.2.0 to upload pictures to use as backdrops in my T68i.
Firstly, I got the device pairing and authentication out of the way, no problem whatsoever. This was achieved by using a new Wireless Link function which appeared in the Control Panel in my Windows XP SP1.
Next I tried opening the SE Image Editor - got a 'No T68 Detected' message above the image of the phone and the download box was greyed out. Tried reinstalling the image editor in case it was not an 'on the fly' detecting program....no luck.
So the phone and the PC can see each other but they can't communicate. After checking some of these forums, I downloaded and installed the Mobile Phone Monitor from SE. I don't know where this stuff went, but a new icon appeared in the Control Panel by the name of 'Phone Monitor Options'. In it, the Mobile Phones area was blank and COM3 was disabled. I enabled it but it has made no difference...I was under the impression anyway that MPM was only for IR and cable, but other forum users seem to have got BT working on it.
I also tried going down the path of networking but came up blank.
On the phone, Connect > Bluetooth > Discover - comes up with the name of my computer as device found.
However, Fun & Games > My pictures > Send > Via Bluetooth comes up with 'no devices found'.
Does anyone else use the MS Bluetooth transceiver as a general comms interface?
Can anyone please tell me how I can get a blessed picture from my PC into my phone via Bluetooth using the setup I've described?
That's all I need.....please!!

if you installed the Mobile Phone Monitor software, you need to set up the COM port to the phone... run C:Program FilesEricssonCommunications Suitephonesettings.exe and set it all up.
I think to pe able to do the phot software you have to have a certain firmware???
Hope this helps

What version of the bluetooth software are you using.
Before anything else I'd suggest updating.
I've written a little guide to how to install the latest drivers properly here.

@major lee hung, pairing is not enough. you need to configure the virtual COM ports to connect to the T68's serial port.
