> K750i not recognized by XP using DCU-60

Hi,
I've got a Orange-branded K750i and when I plug the USB cable into it, it begins to charge, but there is no response from Windows - e.g. no 'Found New Hardware' box, and the device is not listed. I even tried using the 'Add New Hardware' tool to add it, but to no avail. Does anyone know why this occurs and how to fix it? I know the cable works because I used it with a W800 and it worked in both flash mode and file transfer mode.
Thanks for any help

When you connect the Charger.. żIt takes a little time until displaying "Optimized Charge"? Or something like that (mine is in Spanish!)
It happened to me, I have a little problems with FAR cause while transfering a file or something, it stops communication.. and FAR hangs.. :S!!
Excuse my spanish..
Ah! the solution, maybe is Cleaning the fastport with some Alcohol.. It worked for me, but doesn't seems to have dust!
Greets.!

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions, but none of them worked. I did try swapping the PCB for another one I had, without a keypad connector, and it recognized fine - I used the same screen, camera and fastport connector. I think it has something to do with the original PCB. Also, another problem has now occured - the backlight on the screen has stopped functioning.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Stop your PC. Connect ur phone 2 PC. Make sure everything is perfectly connected i.e. no loose connection and/or dust. Start the PC.
Windows should find a new hardware device after start and/or should show a yellow question mark icon (unknow hardware) in the hardware manager.
Worked everytime 4 me, when i couldn't get it wokring in any other way.
Good Luck
