I have the latest firmware on a brand new p990 phone. My ds970 paired well with another p990 but is no longer recognized by it. P990 bt works as it pairs with my pc. Will some one pleeeeease help!!

reset the 970 and start again. make sure you have the little switch on the 970 in the right place too.

I have disconnected the PC connection. In fact I reflashed the P990. To just check the BT function on P990 I tried pairing it with a mono BT headset - it worked.
How do I reset 970?

Copied below is the ds970 headset reset method from SE website, for someone who may need to refer to it...
How do I reset the Bluetooth Headset?
1. Make sure the headset is off, and press and hold the On/Off button for 5 seconds. You hear a long beep after the first signal. The headset is ready to be added.
2. Press and hold the On/Off button and the call handling button simultaneously for 5 seconds. The headset is turned off. A reset is now performed.
