was just reminded today how slack the standard alarm/reminder is on uiq3 - reminder for event popped up on screen saying today - i rushed off to do it - then realised that it was for later in the week and that the alarm reinder just shows me today's date/time!!
come on SE/uiq - that is just pants :/
really cant wait now for aqua alarm to be ported from uiq2

I run very little extra software instead prefering to use the built in stuff and I've never had an issue with alarms and cannot even reproduce the alarms problems that have been listed here
so I wonder if its something to do with other software that you are running that is somehow interfering?
I only run opera mini, gmail, google maps, cellphonesoft autocam and not alot else

mmmm.... that is odd - did it for me on uiq2 as well - i even complaine to uiq about it and they said they couldnt be bothered to fix it :/
try creating an event for a few days time but set the alarm to occur in say 5 mins time - when my alarm appears it just tells me todays date and time and not the date/time of the event itself
...but maybe it is just me :/

i tried this myself using standard calendar app and got same result - a reminder alarm for event on the 22nd displayed as the 19th
my phone is from orange but is now runnig unbranded f/w
the problem was there before it was unbranded though
