> Write long sms = m600

Hey guys, just wrote a message longer than one sms, about 250 characters and the phone asked me if i wanted to send it in 2 sms...
Is there a way, are the settings to send such long smss as one?
Already in my first 3-4 days of using it, and at some times i feel very tired with this phone... I miss some times the usability of k750+p900
thanks in advance.

o and by the way when it says as 2.it means u will be charged for 2 txt...but it does not actually split the txt into 2 seperate ones.they are sent as 1 text

once again I think you are a victim of branding as my unbranded m600 just flows straight into the second message without prompting. The only inidcation is in the message/character counter
SMS are limited by the GSM standard to 160 characters per message, less if you are using foreign lanugage characters

@massuer:i think he meant after you finish d text and tap send...a note pops up saying "it is longer than 1 text and will be sent as 2...do u stil want to send?"(or sumthn like that)

ah! sorry, misunderstood.
funny thing is I just tried it and yes, I also get that prompt but I don't ever remember getting it before. I must be clicking through it without giving it a second though because almost all my text messages are like stories (and I don't use txt spk) so they are usualy more than 1 text!
anyway, there doesn't appear to be a setting for this

Yes i dont mind if i am goind to be charged as 2 sms

In cyprus we have the cheapest sms charge, about 1p .
I was wondering if the other person would get it as 2 or as 1.... Because the way that my phone says it , i thought that it would send it as 2 separate... By the way my phone is not branded, i bought it independantly...

ah right, I must be geting you confused with someone else
1p is incredibly cheap but thats the level it should be at given the number of texts sent every day and how little it must cost the networks to actually transport them
