Hi

I have two questions that I'm hoping u guys can answer..

Firstly: Can Network 3 phones be unlocked? Most peeps say they can't be unlocked and some say that with the right software they can be unlocked just as easily as any other network locked phone (ie, voda O2 etc). Some say that the unlocking is limited to certain handsets and not all 3 handsets can be locked even with the correct software. Can u lovely peeps out there clear this up for me? Can the Nokia 6280 be unlocked?

And secondly: I wondered if network 3 handsets can be used in other countries with their local sim/network. Does the handset need to be unlocked first or will it not matter if its locked to 3, cus it will accept the sims/network of the other country that ur in. I've got relatives in Pakistan and wondered if these handsets would work there?

I would much appreciate any light u peeps out there could shed on this..

Muchas Gracias..

The 6280 can currently only be unlocked by your service provider for £15 I think it costs, it's a BB5 Nokia which no unlocking calculator currently exists.

As for your second question : a phone needs to be unlocked to work with a network in another country.
