I got the P990, it's good, but not great. If I have to choose between thoose phones today I go for the N93, it's feel more up to date. The camera/video possibilities with P990 is 1,5 years behind. But the P990 got some good features also. It depends what you are looking for, it's two diferent type of phones. Can't compare these and say one of them is better...

@tranced - I've already talked to some friends and they TOLD me that the N93 is a BIT slow . . . also, it has this problem when sending SMS/MMS etc. it will take a while before it's transferred nor being received on the other END . . .

@JoJo,
What your friends have told you applied to the very early N93 firmware there has been a patch for the sms problem for ages now and is no longer a problem.
N93 start up time is 24 seconds max P990 over a minute. If like me you loved UIQ in the P900 and P910 IMO you will be really disappointed by UIQ3. With the latest firmware the N93 for most people is very stable and incredibly fast plus if you want there are loads of apps that you can add that don't cause major problems either. The Web browser in the N93 is the closest to a desktop experience i have seen in any mobile device much better than Pocket IE in WM5 and also Opera or Opera mini.
The video and Music player is great and fast and smooth the only downside is the N93 really hasn't dropped much in price unlike the P990 but that in itself says a lot IMO. Obviously i am biased but try and get to have some hands on experience with both and i think it will make the decision for you. The only other thing that really concerned me when leaving UIQ was i thought i was going to really miss the touchscreen but have found this not to be so.
I actually bought a TyTN the other week just to see where WM5 was at and if i preferred a full qwerty keyboard and touchscreen although i liked it at first after 6 days it was back in its box and up for sale. I wouldn't go for the N93i though as the keypad is horrid in MO and in the N93 it is a thing of beauty tactile with large buttons that even in laptop mode makes data entry easy well at least it is for me. Also wouldn't touch the N95 same reason re the keypad and although you get another 2megs in the camera no 3x optical zoom. The slider for music control is gimmick IMO as with the N93 you can control the tracks and volume with the D pad on the right hand side of the device without the need to open it. Don't suppose anyone's really surprised at anything i have said here but i do stand by all of it and it is MO.

Marc

@dogmann - Yeah will surely MISS the touch-screen on the P990 if ever . . . the N93 is \"27 Feet Long\" as I've READ here somewhere . . . LONGER than my car's - LENGTH and bulky too . . . . . I'm kinda confused in a way . . . still, but your really made a post with SUBSTANCE back there . . . I will just leave this thread RUN for a while . . . thanks to all !

Hi JoJo,
That was Fatreg and his sense of humour no way am i going to pretend its a small device but when i had the TyTN and put them side by side there was nothing in it yet you don't hear every one going on about how big that is. Also look at what you are getting a 3.2 Mega pixel Camera with a Carl Zeiss Optics Vario-Tesar lens and 3x optical Zoom. Video recording @ 640x480 30fps, a 330mhz processor with a class leading Power VR MBX 2D/3D Graphics accelerator chip whilst the P990 only has the lite version of this chip. I'm not going to quote the whole speck sheet as it would go on for to long search Symbian Freak for all the details. But just a few more tasters TV out in Pal or NSTC in 4:3 or 16:9 to display web browsing pictures or movies, or documents or infact anything else on the device, Home media server software, Nokia Podcasting app now available, a local device search app available both free from Nokia. Fring a free software to enable Skype, Google and MSN both talk and IM over either WiFi or 3g or GPRS currently it has no equal and that really is all i need to say their is still so much more all the video formats supported and also Music Formats and a killer screen that is hardly effected by any lighting conditions as it self adjusts for brightness.
