Any chance of a good long deatiled step by step guide of change?
I should get the case within the next 3-5 days!
Just carnt get the front plate of because of the M2 flap :/
And i dont really wanna mess with the transistors!
And also the keypad, how do i go about changing that? mines worn, asin the coating has copme off :?
Think SE would do it for nothing?

my idea is to just forge ahead as anytime i have done this you find out as you go along and if things f**k up just put the screws back where you found them it worked for me when i took off the case of a k750i and took a w800i case off a free dummy phone in a shop and it fit perfectly but i could have been lucky so be carefull and dont break your phone GOOD LUCK!

Hmm just had another luck! The keypad is easy just the joystick part seems hard 2 change and this needs changing as the joystick seems to be gettin stiff...
Ill see if my local Phone shop will do it :/

Yep but it doesn't show how to remove the front cover, as the m2 flap gets in the way?

your best bet is to pull it out ..... hold the front cover close to where the
flap goes in and pull the flap straight out. It's held by a small tang
on the very end.

Ok, sound simple, now what about the keypad, and the joystick, replacing them? as mine have worn down very badly?

Keypad is simple, you just remove the old one and put the new one in place, no screws, no soldering, nothing, at least if it is the actual buttons we are talking about.
If you mean the electric switches behind the buttons, or the joystick, it's an entirely different story, then there is some advanced soldering with special soldering tools needed, and nothing to be recommended to do for anyone but a skilled :se. service technician.
