> P990 - GPRS data traffic counter
Bookmark topic
Hi guys,
Does anybody know where i can view the total amount of gprs data traffic on the P990 ? I go quite a lot on internet via the phone and only have 10MB gprs data traffic per month comprised in my contract.
I woul like to keep track of this traffic in order not to exceed it... and reset the counter on my last billing date.
I could do that on my old K700 and P910 but can't find the option on the P990.
Thanks for the help,

main menu>tools>connection manager>then click on the data connection you want the info on.
it will give you a total log and the option to reset when you need to!
Hope this helps!

if you are currently have an active connection that shows the data usage for the current connection.
you can press close and then it shows you the grand totals for all sessions

Great, that's exactly what I was looking for Nanu*1.
One more question however : does the counter go back to zero when you switch off the phone or the count is saved no matter ? I need accurate log info.
Thanks,

no it is saved,
as masseur said though when the link is open it will only give you current info, but i am sure there is another tab on the screen that will display totals even when the link is open!

its there Masseur!
When you have a live connection, click on it and at the top there should be two tabs the first displaying current status the second displaying overall status!
will post some screen shots if you need me too!

Nanu

Make sure connection manager is running at all times when you're connected. Swiss Manager Pro can end it, and when it isn't running, it doesn't log any transfers. You can start the manager from the statusbar arrow (to the left) > connections > manager.
