Hi,

I've finally setup my p990 for PAN using the toshiba stack, here are my settings. I know many tutos are available, but I found none for the toshiba stack so I juste share it.

On the PC (Win XP SP2 with Toshiba v5.10.01)
- share your main connection with the bluetooth one (click OK for ICS warning).
- then check the IP of the bluetooth connection (let's say it's 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0)
- Activate bluetooth PAN in Toshiba settings (I left DHCP out, couldn't make it work...)

- p990 R9C
- create account for bluetooth internet connection
- set roles to "client - server"
- set manual IP to : 192.168.0.2
- set gateway to : 192.168.0.1
- set mask to : 255.255.255.0
- set your DNS to your main connections DNS or your ISP one.
- set the device you want to connect to
- add you connection to a group

When you connect the phone, the bluetooth connection should get connected and you also should see the p990 in the PAN window.

This should then be OK, I'll try to have DHCP work one day...

I managed to get it done!

But I have a problem...I have Zonealarm installed and it doesn't allow me to connect via P990i, I always get "Cannot fine Remote Server"

The moment I switch off Zonealarm, surfing works like a charm on my P990i!

I want Zonealarm on, and keep surfing on P990i, any ideas how to get this done?

Big thanks for this guide !!!

I think my problem was client-server setting but i'm not sure (i rebooted pc and phone).

BTW: I use windows routing instead of ICS. (netsh routing ip nat ....)

are you using bt pan for use internet on p990? come on. if you have wifi on your laptop, its pretty pretty really easier than using bluetooth. no setup on phone, just create new wifi connection on laptop, and set it to be an ad-hoc connection. after this set it to connect to this network even not detected. you will see at tray this connection looks like always connected. scan wireless networks on phone and connect. thats the manual.
