I'm looking at a K800i that appearantly is from Asia. Would there be any problem using this in the US? Im guessing the power cable will have an odd end, but I can deal with that. Anything else?

i think you wont get any warranty as you bought it off ebay. and of course it will work in US. it may work in the 900mhz frequency and others frequencies.

Yeah, the auction says it's unlocked. I may just wait for the k790a to come back into stock at amazon.

be VERY careful because most foreign phones *dont* have 850MHz band if that matters to you. T-Mobile use that band I think. Instead of 850 they have 900 like tranced said
