how can i exit browser without being disconnected gprs connection?

@aruna1 - Can you expound FURTHER with your query here mate In Nokia fones, there are TWO options in the GPRS settings (old N7650-model fone) . . . whenever available or when asked (GPRS) . . . I'm not sure with as I SET it to - automatic or perhaps . . . when NEEDED. Welcome to Esato !

It is always useful to tell us what phone you have. As far as i am aware there is no way to keep the GPRS connected at all times on most phones. It only connects when required. It saves battery this way.

i assume that the author has a non-symbian phone. so, there's no way it can be done. why dont you use a java app for browsing the net. the built-in wap browser cannot be minimized as java apps.
