recently did a trade with pkimshk. He wanted my brand new blackberry 7130g and he was giving me k800i that he had for a while.

i'm a little bit worried that i have been conned into sending the phne to him and won't get anything in return. i sent phone using royal mail airsure service and he told me soon as i provide tracking details he will be posting the phone to me. I have sent a few pm's since then and replied in the my blackberry thread telling him to let me know situation but no reply as of yet. last time i heard from him was 21st that was him telling me he would post phone once i give him tracking info.

i have seen his status as online a few times since then so either he hasn't read his private messages or the thread i sold blackberry on or he is avoiding answering for some reason?

I have all pm's here that i could post as proof of contact and whats going on so far. just don't want to be ripped off again as after it happening to me twice on ebay i trust noone.

so if you read this pkimshk then ease my mind by letting me know everything is fine and you'll be sending phone as promised and provide tracking details for me. thanks in advance

I hate to say this and hope I am wrong but you were trading a Blackberry to the value of around £60 for A Sony Ericsson K800i to the value of .. maybe double that?

This is why I always insist on getting delivery first with low feedback traders and if they dont like it then the deal dont get done.

Saying that, after my trade with Topscooby that doesn't really hold water as he had loads more feedback than me.

Anyway, maybe he is just keeping a low profile and not sending until the phone arrives just to make sure.

Fingers crossed.

Have you tracked the phone online to see if it arrived?

Your item, posted on 22/02/07 with reference LY161594036GB has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

i think that updates when it is delivered

@hutchygers
Yes that sounds about right mine showed up as delivered there, my delivery to USA took about 10 days.

Like all deals they come down to trust yet again, but ignoring simple messages is not an excuse.

One simple method I do for people on another forum is have both packages sent to me from buyer and seller. Once both parties have sent either the item or items or payment whichever to me and I receive them, I then send them off to each party involved. The only extra cost is the postage from each other, a lot cheaper than losing a phone.

This method works well if you have not traded before, and you need to start with the trust thing or prefer a more secure method involving a third party as witness.
