Hi all,
Just got one of these little beauty's to go with my 8800 Special Edition so i now have Stereo Bluetooth streaming. This really is tiny and has a 3.5mm socket so you can plug your own headphones in. Also in the box it comes with it's own bluetooth dongle so you can plug it into your laptop or PC and stream stereo Music to it, Have to say it is very small and the sound quality is great. Even though on the 8800 due to a shortage of storage space i have had to convert @68kbps aac the sound with my Sony headphones is awesome really impressed with it and only cost me £58 delivered. To give you some idea of just how small it is here is a picture of it next my 8800.

Hi all,
Besides the silver stop pause and phone button on the rubberised part you also have volume up and down and fast forward and fast rewind. They sound quality from this is truly stunning and it is even splash proof so can be worn when raining. I love them and the sound i am getting from them.

Can you compare it to hbh-ds970 of SE in terms of quality-volume? You said that the quality is very good. What about the volume? Is it high enough to enjoy your music? And a last thing. You said that a Bluetooth dongle is included in the box. Where did you buy it from? Because I didn't find it with the dongle.
Cheers!

@zisis,

The BH -500 comes with a bluetooth dongle not the HBH-DS970, using the BH-500 with Music encoded at 68kbps aac where as one the M600 i had 128kbps MP3 the sound now both in depth and detail is far superior and there is no way i can listen at full volume unless i either want to go deaf or make my ears bleed. Also no connection issues skips or any other such nonsense either I'm afraid just no contest on quality and reliability.

Sorry mate but I didn't understand your last state. What do you mean? Between BH-500 and hbh-DS970 which one you rate higher in terms of quality and reliability? Have you used both of them?
Thank you

@zisis,

The BH-500 is the Winner by a long way IMO as not only is it much smaller and less intrusive but the battery life and sound quality is better. Of course i have owned and used both as otherwise i wouldn't be able to compare them.

I don't agree about the sound quality being better at all, the quality on the SE HBH-DS970 is SUPERB, and you know it is. a friend has the same nokia headset that you have and although it is good just didn't sound as good to me. Used the same mp3._________________

Hi Paul,
Fine but is he using the Nokia headset that comes with it? or a decent set using the 3.5mm jack as this would make a very big difference. You are also are entitled to disagree as this is only MO.
